When we launched at the end of January at the 2026 PGA Show, we saw significant interest in our beta launch. We invited people to sign up — but we didn’t know how many would raise their hand this early.
You did.
That matters more than you know.
Thank you for seeing the vision of Black Hole Golf and for choosing to help build the KOSMOS from the beginning.
Here's my promise: I will only show up in your inbox when there's something real to say. No filler. No noise. Just the moments that matter.
This is one of them.
The KOSMOS awaits
If you signed up at the show, you got the short version. Here's the full one.
Imagine taking any open space — your backyard, a park, a field — and turning it into your own competitive arena. You set up Mission Control, head out and place your target discs, open the app, and choose how you want to play. Then you just hit real golf balls at real targets. The system does the rest.

When you walk the field to collect your balls, the shag bag automatically captures where every single one landed. No tapping. No inputting. The walk IS the data. You return to Mission Control, your session scores, and your universe updates.
That's the KOSMOS. And it grows with you.
You can play solo. You can play with friends or family — competitive or casual, day or night. You can run arcade-style games, or classic improvement rounds. You can challenge your crew, climb leaderboards, and earn mission patches through play. No range fees. No tee times. No waiting on anyone else's schedule.
A system that helps you get better
The more you play, the smarter the KOSMOS gets.
The playing field itself responds to you. If you consistently miss long and left, the scoring grid quietly adjusts — growing the zones that challenge you, shrinking the ones that don't. You might not even notice it happening. That's the point. This isn't a training aid that makes you feel like you're doing homework. It's a game that makes you better without asking permission.
We call that your Kosmos Rating. Think of it like a handicap — but alive. It moves. It adapts. It's yours.
And something else is coming — something I'll save for a future update, because it deserves its own introduction. Just know that every session you play from day one is quietly building toward it. The KOSMOS is learning you. What that becomes, you'll see soon enough.
Where things stand
The hardware is ready. The app is in final testing — and I want to tell you why I pushed the timeline, because it's actually exciting news.
During development the games started to drift. They became a collection of one off games that they never should have been. I made the call to rebuild the core gameplay engine from the ground up. Because I saw what it could become — and I wasn't willing to build on a foundation that couldn't get there. I wanted players to add to the KOSMOS in ways I would never think of. To start this is for Arcade mode but I have plans for Praxis as well.
Anyone in the KOSMOS will eventually be able to design a game, set the rules, and let the whole community play it. That's only possible because of the work we did now. The delay bought us something real. I feel it will always be worth some pain and expense if the end result adds immense value to you.
Before we can sell, our smart targets need FCC certification. They're genuinely new — nothing like them exists — so we certify from scratch. That process is underway now, and beta sales open the moment it clears.
The packaging is also being designed to match the product. The box you receive will be worth keeping.

You'll be among the first to know when the link goes live.
What I'm asking from you
You're not just an early customer. You're a founding member — and I mean that seriously.
I'm limiting the initial beta to 200 units so I can actually talk to you. I want your feedback. I want to know what's working and what isn't. Every iteration of the KOSMOS — games, devices, features — gets built around one rule: nothing gets added unless it adds real value to you.
To make that real, I'm setting up quarterly town halls for the founding group. You'll be able to sign up, join the conversation, ask questions directly, and help shape what the KOSMOS becomes. This community is part of the product.
More on the Founding Member program — and what we've set aside for the people who were here first — is coming closer to shipment.
We're building the KOSMOS together.
Golf grows people. Black Hole Golf is being built to make that growth a habit — for you, your family, and everyone you bring into your universe.
Thank you for being early.
